One crappy cellphone picture of DILLON at Waves Vienna, 4 October 2012, Odeon

This is an extraordinarily crappy photo, but it really is about as bright as it got. Dillon was tip tapping in the dark, being weird-cute and soap&skinny, though her music is catchier and more pop in a way. Not very pop though, so it felt like the strangest thing when she asked the audience to sing along to her song and then even said, “All the ladies”. My friend Anna and I were looking at each other, went, “And now all the fellas”, and burst out in laughter. That show was a bit too quirky for my personal taste, but I enjoyed her music nevertheless.
