Ja, das ist das Lied, das die Käsefrage bei unserem Interview mit dem Nino aus Wien (ansehen hier) inspiriert hat, und außerdem hat es auch diesen großartigen Refrain, der so viel Wahrheit beinhaltet, dass man fast wieder an so etwas wie Wahrheit glaubt.
Weil ich find, es zahlt sich einfach nicht aus, dauernd alle zu meiden, die man liebt. Und wir lieben uns doch auch. Wieso machen wir’s uns so schwer? Fahren wir einfach eine Woche ans Meer. Die letzte Reise ist schon viel zu lange her.

Vor dem Releasekonzert zu seinem vierten Album Bulbureal am 11. November 2012 haben wir den Nino aus Wien im Wiener Stadtsaal zwischen Tür und Angel über das Misslingen von Bulbureal, das Gefilmtwerden, Mazedonien und Käse ausgefragt und sind dabei auch selbst gefilmt worden.

With bandmates pauT and Raphael Sas as supporting acts for the second night of Nino’s album presentation of Bulbureal, this show was a bit rushed (due to stress induced by the venue). But still it was quite a build-up to Nino’s nice songs about life and its wronggoings. The new single Fühlen was presented in the middle of the gig, which was suprising. Anyhow, the little technical difficulties were crushed by a nice and souvereign and sympathetic “Aso”. This showed once more the true vienneseness of Nino.

Ok. Okokokok. I can’t wait to read all the album reviews for the fourth Nino album. I haven’t got any idea what to make of this except that I tremendously enjoy it intuitively, so I’ll leave it to the professional journalists to wrap their heads around it.
All I know is that this is exactly what I imagine anti-depressants to feel like: The dark thoughts are still there somewhere but they’re coated with superficial, bubbly, drum driven europop which prevent you from really listening to the lyrics.

Der Nino aus Wien erklärt sich selbst und macht auch Schluss mit den ganzen Drogengerüchten, mehr oder weniger (“Ich muss sagen, dass ich in der Öffentlichkeit noch nie unter Drogeneinfluss stand”).
