When I saw James Hersey play an FM4 Radio 2 Session last spring, it was thanks to beer, of course. Had Mr. Hersey not been going for drinks with an FM4 employee, he would have probably not been so easily invited, or at least not as quickly. It seems this guy knows all the right people. Supporting Leftboy, I’m sure, has helped him gain a few fans in next to no time too. Oh well, this is how things work in Austria, in Austin, TX, and all over the world. 

James Hersey’s voice is remarkably pleasant, both because it’s so soulful and finally!, here’s an Austrian musician whose English pronunciation sounds natural (that’s probably because it is).

Thanks to my dear friend E. I witnessed this epic, entertaining session and I’m talking about Bilderbuch more than James Hersey although he was nice too (and more soulful than in his YouTube videos) but Bilderbuch talked about feeling like the Dixie Chicks and a visit from the GIS Mann, and they played a new song called “Anlegen mit Leute”.
