Mel: Lovers Succeed

Besides the fact that Mel’s tattoo-dress combination is super badass and the fact that this song is really good, she also uses a Gone With The Wind reference and whoa!, when I had just gotten my first guitar and taught myself some basic chords and then wrote my very first song on it, there was a Gone With The Wind reference in it too! (It sounds much better when Mel does it though. Obvs there’s a reason I became a music blogger and not a musician myself.)
