This is wonderful in many ways. Woodpigeon and a choir led by members of POP:SCH perform a song with a great title and introduced with the words, “This next song is a song about all of us on a boat, and the boat hits an iceberg, and we realize, ‘Scheiße, this is it’. And it’s all going down, but instead of panicking we’re all looking at each other, and we say, ‘You’re really attractive. And you’re really attractive. I wish I’d kissed you.’”

Featuring old found footage of Vienna and the word “Schatzi”! Mark Andrew Hamilton a.k.a. Woodpigeon moved from Calgary, Canada to Vienna, Austria not too long ago, or maybe a while ago, but not a lot of people really ever noticed here. That is bound to change once he’s performed (with choir!) at this year’s Popfest.
